Musi and Irony

Ah, it such a long time I don't use English anymore in writing. Today, I am trying to do it again.

While waiting to do an internship at Pertamina Plaju (it will be begin next week), Azizah and I decided to go Palembang. From the information in internet, I can conclude, this city doesn't have too many destination except mall and some places like Ampera (the icon), Musi, and Museum. CMIIW because I just found it in Palembang, not in wide province South Sumatera I mean.

Mbak Novi asked us to go to Plaju market, we need to buy some chicken meat, fish, and vegetables. She couldn't go by herself because she has to work. Yeah, Mbak Novi is a government worker at BPS Palembang. That was not a big problem for us, at previous day we already went there, so it would be easy of course.

Done with shoping, we went to Palembang. It didn't take too long time, about 20 minutes without any traffic jam on the way (if we're lucky yaaa).

We parked the motorcycle (the motorcycle was lent from Mas Hilmi K38) in front of Benteng Kuto Besak, crossed the way and voillaaaa could face Musi River clearly. The river is full with activities. So many traditional boat waded it. From this side too, Ampera Bridge extended from west to east. As usual, it was crowded. I guess, Ampera is the heart of economic wheel in Palembang.

We as a 'visitor' only want to enjoy the beautiful view wherever we go. But this picture above says something different. Irony again in this country. Nor Palembang, Jakarta, Surabaya, or any where, we can't avoid from this phenomena. There are always the opposite from one word in this world. Black and white, up and bottom, hot and cool, day and night. God give that rules.

This morning I couldn't find any reason not to thank to God. Alhamdulillah Ya Allah for this life, family, friends, so many people around me, and many many things.
